The Price of Gas in
America I remember there used to be an expression that
said something about the "Price of Rice in China"
meaning that since rice was very popular in
China that
you could get a pretty good gauge on
inflation or even
on the economy on the whole just by checking the price
of rice. I believe the same can be said for America and
the
Price of Gas. In many ways the price of gas is even
a better gauge on the
American economy than was rice
prices in China. Most people just think about the direct
travel expense when they think about gasoline prices,
but the effect runs much deeper. When I say gas, I'm
talking about every fuel that is made from
petroleum, so
that includes
diesel,
jet fuel, and
heating oil.
Therefore, high gas prices mean higher food prices,
higher retail prices, and higher prices on virtually
everything and anything you buy. For example, if your
plumber drives a
huge 4x4 heavy duty truck
to get to your house he will have to charge you more for
his service just to cover the gas it takes to drive his
8-10 mpg vehicle around town. Another example is
Internet shopping. Your order still has to be delivered
by
truck and/or
airplane, both of which use
expensive petroleum based fuel.

Fashioned (analog) Television
On February 17, 2009, federal law requires that all
full-power television broadcast stations stop broadcasting in analog
format and broadcast only in digital format. It's about time they
updated the Television standard. Digital Television or DTV simply
means computerized TV and Analog Television simply means old
fashioned TV. I have to say that Digital TV (DTV)
looks great even on an old TV. I tested it on a 1986 model and the
color, sound, and clarity were fantastic.

What is a Laptop

cooler is a device external to a
laptop or
notebook
computer that is designed to lower the overall
temperature of the portable computer. A
typical laptop cooler
consists of a rectangular platform about the same size or larger
than the laptop computer. Many laptop coolers have a built-in fan to

4 fan laptop cooler. The fans on
most laptop coolers are powered by a
special USB cable that plugs into

USB port on the laptop

dust off the laptop using a
Gas Duster (Canned Air). If the
internal fans or airways on the laptop are clogged, then the laptop
is going to get hot or even overheat.
