PowerPoint Presentations (continued)
I researched the product and I was happy to
see that they even had videos that demonstrated the product. I also
liked that it was from a company (PENPER.COM)
that has specialized in
remote mice since the dawn of
Radio
Frequency remote mouse products. The Penta Sport is
simply the latest generation of their remote mouse product. I sent
my boss a link to LaserMouse.com and he replied with, "Looks good,
order one". So, a week later a package arrived with
big bright orange stickers that said
PENPER.COM. I opened the box and found it was my new
Penta Sport Remote Mouse. It was wrapped in no nonsense foam
packaging material. I later found out that it was part of their
GREEN INITIATIVE to reduce
unnecessary packaging. Everything was in the package including
Mouse, Receiver, Carrying Case, Batteries, and Quick Start Guide. I
later found that they put the
full instruction guide on the Internet in an effort to
save paper, but it also allows them to keep the
instruction
manual constantly updated with new information. They even
had
helpful videos. I have to give them
credit with the quick start guide, because I had no trouble getting
my Penta Sport up and running. I didn't have to use the online
Instruction Manual until I had a question about resetting the
receiver. The setup is pretty simple as long as you have Windows XP
or Windows Vista. Basically all you have to do is insert the
batteries and then plug the receiver into the USB port and the
operating system automatically detects the receiver and installs all
the appropriate drivers. I showed the Penta Sport to my boss and he
loved sleek black styling and rubber like plastic finish and said to
me, "Now if it performs as good as it looks will be in pretty good
shape". I gave him a quick instruction on how to use the
joystick,
mouse buttons, and the
special PowerPoint buttons and
before I knew it he was going through a practice run on the
presentation. He said the Joystick was pretty good for a computer
mouse, but he really loved his new PowerPoint buttons. He exclaimed,
"Now all I have to do is keep my fingers on these 2 buttons (the
slide advance buttons) and I can go forward or reverse through my
slides with out even thinking about the computer. I LOVE IT!". I was
pleased with the Penta Sport and I would recommend it to anyone who
is in charge of specifying computer hardware for PowerPoint
applications. To find out more about the product please visit

What is a Laptop
Cooler?
A
laptop
cooler is a device external to a
laptop or
notebook
computer that is designed to lower the overall
temperature of the portable computer. A
typical laptop cooler
consists of a rectangular platform about the same size or larger
than the laptop computer. Many laptop coolers have a built-in fan to
help facilitate the cooling process. Most of these fanned
coolers have 2 fans, but I've seen a really cool
4 fan laptop cooler. The fans on
most laptop coolers are powered by a
special USB cable that plugs into
any available
USB port on the laptop
computer. In addition to a laptop cooler it is also a good idea to
dust off the laptop using a
Gas Duster (Canned Air). If the
internal fans or airways on the laptop are clogged, then the laptop
is going to get hot or even overheat.
