09.07.07 - BRIGHT SHINY COMPUTER ACCESSORIES: I have to admit that I love computer toys. They are so pretty and fun to play with. I think Americans are finally as fascinated with computer toys as they are with automobiles. Yes, I'm sure they are. They wait in line for the latest $600 cell phone or they wait in line for the latest $600 video game console. Isn't it funny how those two items sell for about the same price. I wonder if that's the maximum price that Americans will pay for a high priced computer toy in 2007. Maybe the price will be $800 next year. The bottom line is that a computer toy is nothing but a piece of junk unless you have a person to play with it. I think computer toys are fine as long as we keep in perceptive that PEOPLE are the important thing not the material object.
